Let’s talk Implants

What is a single implant vs implant bridge?

A dental implant is a titanium screw strategically placed in the jawbone, acting as a sturdy foundation for a replacement tooth. Once the bone heals around the implant, it securely supports a crown, which is attached using an abutment. The treatment for a single implant typically spans 3 to 10 months, particularly if bone grafting is needed. This innovative solution offers a reliable and durable option for those looking to restore their smile. One can get single implants or an implant supported bridge...

What is an overdenture?

Discover the benefits of overdentures, a removable implant-retained prosthesis that offers an upgraded experience compared to traditional dentures. While commonly used for the lower jaw, many providers also offer this innovative treatment for the upper arch. Often referred to as snap-on dentures, they provide a comfortable and secure fit, making them affordable option for those seeking improved functionality. There is annual maintenance involved. This treatment could be the ideal solution for many!

What is a fixed full arch treatment?

Fixed full arch treatment is commonly referred to as the "All on 4" or "All on 6". This treatment is a fixed solution whereby the prosthesis or arch is attached to the implants and is not removable. Typically extractions occur and at the same time, the implants are placed in the upper/lower jaw. Often the same day, the prosthesis is loaded or attached to the implants. This treatment can be more predictable and permanent. It also happens much quicker than single implants.
